Born and works in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. From 1970 to 1979 she was trained as a classical dancer by the Opera Ballet School of the Municipal Theater, Rio de Janeiro. Postgraduate in Dance Studies and Choreography / Choreology - Laban Center for Movement and Dance - London - UK, 1991-1992. Guest artist at the University of Tulane, New Orleans, USA and at the New World School, Miami, Florida, in 2007, as a resident choreographer at the Florida International University FIU in 1999. In 2010 recognized as one of the 100 renowned Brazilian artists of the 21st CENTURY, and amongst the 10 dance artists of decade - BRAVO magazine.

With a solid professional career in Brazil and abroad, with 25 choreographic works. Special projects: 4 Operas, 5 Dance Videos, 4 Projects in Performance Art and Education.

Performs in national and international renowned Festivals, Theaters, Galleries and Museums.
